Aspen X Games: Future looks bright for Marie Martinod

The 32-year-old sensation from France Marie Martinod claimed gold in the Superpipe at the X Games in Aspen, Colorado.

Following her bronze medal at last year’s World Championships, Marie went grabing the most precious metal executing a perfect series of tricks in Aspen: a tail grab, a back to back 540 and a back to back flair just before finishing with a sick and massive 900, defeating Japan’s Ayanna Onozuka and America’s Maddie Bowman, who took second and third, respectively.

Future looks pretty bright for our champion with just one year to go before the Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea(Feb. 9-25, 2018).
